Is this the definitive answer between the ongoing argument between Tomtom and Garmin, Tomtom discounting (Via Tesco)?

Garmin is also my preference, but it's a hot subject that's why I thought I'd throw a bit of coal on the fire!!:whistle:

Just to keep the fire burning I spent last week visitin Brugge, took my boss and his wife who kindly brought their 'Navman'. After getting us into difficulty in new roadworks near Bredene we got the 'Tom Tom' out and got ourselves out of trouble.

Haven't used the Garmin, though I have one on my boat, but I'm very happy with the look, feel and performance of Tom Tom.

I got one this morning when I bought diesel. Also valid until 16th October. I don't need it so if anyone is interested first to PM me can have it free.

Just looked TT on Tesco web site and the cheapest is the Start @ £120 - Google it and you can buy the same for less than £90 :Wink:

Tom Tom are also doing a £30 cash back offer @ halfrauds on certain models
Ive just got one of the very latest 5" ones with all of euope mapping live services for 1 year
£130 sad thing is it dont work with TomTom Home:Doh::Doh:
There seems to be a new kid on the block called "My TomTom" hasnt a fraction of the features of Home Also My PC wont see it as a Removeable HD so cant look at the files or play with them
