Tolls automatic payment? (1 Viewer)

Hi Going to be driving through France to Lake Garda in Italy on the motorways and rather than faff with paying cash/credit card at each toll point I fancy using the in cab tag payment method.
I have seen that in France i can use the sanef tag but does this work in Italy as well?

Is there a tag system that will cover both countries?

Or do i have to have two seperate systems?

The trip is not a motorhome holiday - unfortunately - its driving school music equipment to Italy (somewhere near Lake Garda) for the schools bi-annual music trip - some 5 days - then drive it back in a luton van. Cheaper than flying the instruments with the kids!

Sorry cant help with where to purchase Italian one.

A cheaper route?

I've driven to Lake Garde several times but take a route across Belgium (E42 from Dunkirk) then down through Luxembourg, then via Karlsruhe and Stuttgart (all on free motorway) then Ulm and Kempton and across the Fern Pass (easy), then the Brenner into Italy. On this route there are no motorway fees until the Brenner (8 Euros), then a little Italian down to Garde. You get the cheapest fuel in Europe whilst passing Luxembourg on there free motorway, and cheap fuel in Austria (much cheaper than Italy). I do the trip a lot to the Dolomites to rock climb, and its a nice route.

Travelling down from Yorkshire and using the channel tunnel. Do you cross over to Belgium/Holland to do that route.
