We're now on RV number 3 since we started RVing seven years ago
In each of the RVs, for one reason or another, we have had to replace our toilet pan. Fabulous though they are, porcelain loo's are breakable and although there are many reasons why one may crack or break, the most annoying and easily preventable one is the 'forgot to close the seat lid before we set off' one. Those big old Sealand MDF throne covers wheigh a ton. Another problem with the plastic coated MDF ones is that the coating is not particularly durable and once scratched or marked they are bin fodder.
So, I here you ask, how do I prevent damage through dropsies or replace old and tired seats and lids?
Like you, I always believed that only a Sealand replacement would fit! But no, not only will a standard UK one fit but the soft close option from ALDI is superb at only £16.99. Yes, soft close, the right colour white and a lovely little kick up detail on the seat that matches the back of the Sealand pan.
What a result!!
