Toilet fluid again (1 Viewer)

Hi after many recommendations we have started using formal bio washing liquid in our toilet, and it doesn't seem any worse. We have been using a pink toilet fluid spray for the bowl but read this can stop the bio liquid working. If we are to use a spray bottle of bio and water for the bowl is this likely to damage the toilet seal??

Wee is almost sterile & flushes well with just water then if a Happy Bowl linerhttp://Broken Link Removed is used for the other then should only need to clean with bio spray solution every now & again. If after spraying bowl you rinse with fresh water then a quick wipe around the seal with olive oil or spray with Thetford silicone seal lubricant spray that should protect your seal. Parazone flushable wipes for keeping the toilet lid, seat & general area (including the bowl as an alternative to spray) work well too. After years of using the chemicals (hate the smell of these) in our caravan these are the methods that we have moved to after reading much discussion on here & all work well!

We've moved onto the bio tabs from the liquid to save space, we add half a capful of Zoflora for a nice smell but are aware that this might affect the bio action, it's early days yet but so far so good.

For the amount of time effluent will be in your cassette nothing will biodegrade the contents. Whatever you add whether it is chemicals or soap products it will only help to mask any smells that might escape whilst toilet is in use. I use a cheap non bio washing liquid and empty the cassette every day or more often if required.

Yes we use the bio washing liquid, and spray with Zoflora, no problems.
