Yep thank you guys for your well wishes. thank you very much......

I am indeed back at home on the sofa as I cant make the stairs. I managed a little over 5hrs so a little disappointed with my time but, I did spend 20 mins in the St Johns ambulance van at mile 16 having some running repairs. They were not keen to let me carry on but, I just said, yeah whatever, I will be finishing this because Im nuts , at that point I was on for about 4hrs 20 the next 10 miles hurt like hell!! but I just massaged the mind to block it out.

It was a real experience, one that will live with me for some time, the adrenaline itself kept me going. When I finished both my calves just cramped up and left me falling to the floor, but it was a good job a nice young medic was there to make them all better.

So, if yo see me running again in the next week, please shoot me. although I have now just entered the Helsby half and looking at the very interesting Lake District ultra for next year!!:thumb:

Ps Joy, you can click the link in my signature, or of course I will be happy to take your money at the Goth meet, I will be the one with the jet black hair:thumb:
