Hello folks.
Should I leave the cab vents open when Mh not in use and the AIR toggle switch to
re-circulate or close it off?

Or what do you do, just thinking of combating any dampness.

Er.....

To be honest not something I'd really considered! I do close the cab vents when parked up and using the MH in order to reduce draughts but don't touch them when parking up for storage.

As far as I'm aware the vehicle habitation area has a number of gas vent holes to stop you gassing yourself when in use, and these would by necessity still be open so damp would still get in if it was going to.

Perhaps subsequent replies will educate me as well!

I have always closed mine as it prevents draughts and damp from entering habitation area.

Close mine when parked up to stop draughts and when laid up, there is plenty of ventilation through the habitation vents.

Well tried both

Left recirculated air vent closed for a week
Seems that less cool, cold, damp air got in,
Screen clear in a morning, used to get a little steamed up when open.
My thoughts are if damp air blowing towards air intake it will ingress MH.
I keep a damp collection sort of pillow on dash, been dryer since vents closed.
