I am the (by and large) contented owner of a 1997 Fiat-based Kon-Tiki. We have used it for a year now, without anything major going wrong. However, mindful of the ‘leaky Kon-Tiki’ reputation, I think it may be prudent to renew/replace the old sealant to all the panel junctions.
Or, as there are no leaks evident, should I leave well enough alone? Mind you some of the sealing mastic is looking a bit old and stringy.
Any thoughts Funsters?
All advice, as to recommended sealant, methods etc., appreciated.
