Tiling kitchen area (1 Viewer)

Completed the kitchen tiling today (Well apart from a little grouting on the back wall). I think it has made a huge difference for very little money:thumb:


Most of these kitchens appear to be very similar in set up (Window style etc) so I will detail the amount of tiles and adhesive I have used and it may help if you are thinking of doing the same.


Topps Tiles - Brown mosaic tile sheet x 8 - £2.39 each
Wickes - Black/ grey mosaic glass tile sheet x 2 - £6.99 each
Screwfix - Sikaflex EBT grab adhesive x 2 - £7.99 each
Screwfix - Polymer modified flexible grout x 1 - £6.99 each


TOTAL £56.07


The 3 pictures show the kitchen before, after and the third is just to demonstrate how important it is to pick a thin tile (3-4mm thick). Any thicker and they would stick out too much at the edge and around the window.

your correct about them all looking much the same.. it's exactly the same layout, even down to the cupboards as our Georgieboy was ..

Wow!! Neat job. Now I have a kitchen here in my house that could do with exactly the same treatment.....
