Does this happen to others?

If I am interested in a thread, I keep an eye out for it moving back up the list, due to new contribution, then I open it but find there is no visible change in the content. Sometimes I even think something I had read already is not there any more

But when I refresh the page the new comment appears

is it something I am doing, or my dinosaur computer? oh:

It is to do with"caches" I think. Your PC is simply showing an old copy of the page. Probably something in the settings you can do to change this behaviour - but it escapes me at the moment!
