From the market/car boot sales this morning: desk spot lamp = 50p, five little jars of Heinz tomato ketchup = 50p, a nice square coffee table which matches the cupboards/furniture in our static = £2 ... will have to try harder to spend more!
Steady on Mel, you won't have any cash left for the next van.:D

I know it's not the most powerful battery but seems well made and small, with good reviews for£25,as I only want it to carry in the Motorhome.

2 sets of Broken Link Removed for the beds.
Brought them from a German company via French ebay, as they were a lot cheaper.

I was tearing my hair out paying for them, as they didn't include UK shipping in their listing so they sent me a PayPal invoice. When I went to pay for them via any of my normal PayPal accounts it would only let me pay in GBP at their rubbish exchange rate, finally cracked it by opening yet another account I was able to pay in Euro using my Nationwide CC, only saved about 8 quid but it was a matter of principle.

Some of these Broken Link Removed to use on the car trailer as I can never remember how to tie a "lorry drivers hitch " Not to be confused with a "lorry drivers ITCH" which is something else entirely.:whistle2::rofl:

A handle for my sisters MH shower door - it snapped of in my hand the other day when we were on a tip run! Thankfully only cost £4 from the local caravan dealer. Now fitted and all working again and I'm in sisters good books- result!

Just bought a small prefabricated concrete garage to go in place of the huge 40 year old concrete & steel reinforced one being slowly demolished by contractors as I type this.
This is all so I can park our van at home. Let's just hope I can manoeuvre onto the drive from our very narrow unadopted service road, otherwise I've spent 3 grand on a visitors car park!

Fingers crossed(y)

YES !!! It's on the drive. :D

Honeywell gas leak detector, I could smell a very slight whiff of gas when I opened the gas locker, only since I fitted gas filters, rather be safe than sorry.

Today, at a car Boot Sale, I bought a 1977 Radio Shack DIY digital computer kit for £2. I've tested it and it's fully working, and have worked out how to ferry the farmer, the goat, the wolf, and the cabbage across the river without any of them getting eaten. Fascinating, as the late great Mr Spock would say.
