We're on our first long trip in the RV and we're currently at a CL near Bodmin, Cornwall.:thumb:

We eventually got our Maxview satellite dish fitted and although we could not get a signal at home, it's fine here. The strange thing is that at home, near Norwich, we watch the local BBC news programme, Look East and when we tuned in here to watch the news, low and behold we got Look East!!!:Eeek: We really can't fathom that out!!!

    magic innit!!!!!
watch any regional channel you want from anywhere in the UK and central/northern europe:thumb: southern europe as well if your dish is big enough.

you would get the same signal at home if there was nothing in the way between the dish and the satellite, trees, buildings etc and, ofcourse, it was locked on to the satellite

we have every BBC and ITV region stored in a favorites folder. about 20 or so different ones.
you never know when there may be a different programme on a different region worth watching.:thumb:

no matter where you are in britain have the dish level and point it south east and you should get a signal.I get one under the awning next to a metal table and bin,and still get a great signal:thumb:

Your card is programmed for your local region and will always log onto it.

Mine still set in Anglia region although now in Wales.

Just dont tell sky your in a motorhome hoping to get a different regional setting,

the second they hear the word caravan or motorhome they'll cancel the card, as it's illegal to recieve sky outside the UK, something about how the BBC has worded it's recieving rights,

even if you never go abroad in your motorhome, you could sky thinks, to that's break the T&Cs, so they have to cancel.
