Thinking about Jan/Feb 2016 abroad, any ideas? (1 Viewer)

We have been thinking that now we have spent our money on a new MH it maybe worth using it for a winter holiday somewhere warmer for a month or so in Jan / Feb 2016. Our thoughts were South of Spain or thereabouts.
We would appreciate any ideas on where to stay that say might have a town near, but the main issue is whether it is a sensible idea to do this as it is also winter abroad.
Any ideas gratefully received especially from anyone who has done this.

Basics.. Winter is Spain is a lot better than UK !!
Jan / Feb you can wear short most often in the day BUT once the sun has gone down it gets a bit nippy....

Spain is expected to be really busy this year, certainly more of us Brits sem to want to go.

A couple of winters ago spent 4 months in Spain
Absolutely fabulous time
Would recommend Javea /Altea area
Camping Javea was excellent
As was Cabo de Gato area loved every minute of it

Once south of Valencia, it begins to get brighter and warmer, before there, inland, it can be very cold indeed. I drove through freezing fog between Pamploma and Zaragoza. For English summer weather you need to get to the bottom a Spain beyond Malaga and towards the Algarve then relax.

Yep, we are going South as well for Jan and Feb..

Spain or Morocco. Its as simple as that, however Spain is a huge country, so to be more to the point, not too far from the MED south of Valencia. You can expect warm days and cool nights.

Might be wise to read most of the threads on here before you travel, take notes of threads on Gas and UK TV and Internet.
Arriving into Spain without a Gas supply that will last out your stay has become a problem for some this year, postings and personal experience can confirm this.
TV.............. so many options and postings, but the questions keep coming.
And Finally Internet, we are blessed with the provision of getting Data at a price we all can afford, load of postings on that.
