Yup.. on the old Airscrew Weyroc site..
'Course, most folk do not know it as that any more so a road name is a bit more useful :)

Burrell Way.. They usually charge me a fiver

It is right in the middle of the road so you canna miss it !

No idea.. I know what I weigh so I sit in the van, tell them to weigh me and then take off the 16 stone for me !

Two printed weighs (front and total, subtract for rear) are under a tenner. John's deal is great for peace if mind, but I like to keep a record

Presumably I can get a printout at the Thetford one for front weight and total. Is it flat? The one I use near Thickthorn is raised so the ramps can give a bit of a problem.

Yes, dead flat and yes you can get a print out.

Jaws, which direction is it best approached from. Google earth shows one of the plates removed. I'm always a bit unsure about the procedure at these places.

Hi Johns probably still in bed. If you are approaching from Norwich stick to the bypass and take 1st left at the last Thetford roundabout (Sainsbury's). Next turn right at Lidl and then immediately left behind it. You will approach the weigh bridge directly in front of you,

Regards Richard

Ps not sure they are open Sunday's.

Will be passing on way to St. Neots tomorrow. Getting checked before deciding about an up rate on weight.
Do you just drive on to the plate or have to see man in shack first?

Hi Stevec.
There is also one at Bungay. Its at the maltings on Pirnhow St , on the back road to Bungay from
"chicken roundabout".
Coming from Norwich, just take the second exit at chicken roundabout. That is Pirnhow St.
1 mile up that lane and the maltings is on the left.

Mitch.

Cranswick Foods, on the LHS as you leave Watton towards Brandon is open 24/7 and costs £10. Stop on their forecourt and ask at Security.

There seems to be an echo on here sometimes.

AGREED. But given that the latest advice was about Bungay (which wouldn't be my preferred route to St Neots) plus a comment about "not open on Sunday", I thought that excellent information was worth repeating. (y)

(Especially as some people "can't remember")
