Thetford Pressure Release Valve (1 Viewer)

The C4 cassette leaks from the pressure release valve when I tip it up for transporting it to the drain.

I've googled it and find it's a common problem and it can be cleaned or replaced as necessary.

How do I remove it? Is it a screw thread? I can turn it but not get it out.

Usually these parts are 'twist and pull'. There are lugs on the parts and appropriately positioned gaps on the cassette. Inserting is by lining up the lugs with the spaces, pushing the part in and then twisting; removing is the reverse.
