Hi All,

As the project moves on I find I need to remove the Thetford Toilet to replace the Black Tank....

Now the ride height is sorted, removal of the tank is straightforward.

It's the removal of the fixed toilet that is the mystery.

Does anyone have the fitting instructions or know how it mounts to the floor please?

It isn't the cassette type but a foot pedal/electric flush and dump lever type......

If I can't remove it I can see myself getting right in the ....:Eeek::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

PS I'll try not to drop the bolt in.....

A Woosh bang
Hi

I removed mine to replace the floor covering, it was held in place with two bolts ( one each side) in recessed holes with plastic covers..

Underneath there is a plastic plate screwed to the floor which holds the heads of the bolts with the thread pointing upwards

This may help .. Link Removed

What he said, piece of cake and chances are at your vans age they'll be brass bolts so no mucking about. There will be the water connection but that should be obviouProbably worth getting a new loo to tank seal, can't imagine it'll cost much and the usual suspects will likely have I suspect.
