I realise that this is quite an old, but valuable set of notes, but can I just add that the connections to the vacuum breaker are not reversible ( although they physically are so!) and if you do get it wrong you wont know until you have rebuilt the whole unit. As I remember the feed pipe goes on the outside but please check this as you go along! Symptoms of it leaking are a lot of water outside the cassette after flushing and of course a poor rinse pressure.
Oh and a mirror with a swivelling stand is very helpful
