Theftford C260 toilet (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have an Autrotrail Dakota with a Thetford C260 toilet. The toilet has a fan and filter in the base (under the tank) however I cannot see any actual vent hole under the vehicle for the fan to 'escape' through.

Should there be a vent hole or am I missing something here. I've checked the manual but this does not help.

No the fan just draws it through a filter they are noisy and don't do the job,I know this as we bought a new Tracker last year and after a couple of trips we were unhappy at the noise it made and also it was inefficient I spoke to dealer who checked with Autotrail and they said it does not have an open vent.
I have fitted a SOG to mine they are great.

Mine was a retro fit and has a exhaust! vent through the floor. the fitting instruction also show through the floor vent.

Our Adria has the same toilet & has a vent hole through the floor immediately below the fan (with a flexible pipe through it).
There is also a version with a vent pipe up through the roof.
Either way it should definately be vented.
