After a scorching five weeks on the Algarve (and one wet one) we finally venture north.

Fatima, Portugal.

Bit damp today. It was forecast!!!

We left a sunny Pego do Altar this morning and saw a shower when we stopped at Lidl to stock up on Uvas Saloias (vinho tinto)
Had a lunch stop at Coruche then an hour or two round the market and town. Again dodged a couple of showers!

Now at Fatima. Managed to get round the churchy bits and be inside when it showered.

Then back to the van for a shower!!!

Calling in to see Dave & Jackie @misskiwi, funsters we met in maroc, tomorrow at their campsite at Figueiro dos Vinhos.

Hope the sun has got his hat on again!

It's misty cold and miserable in Veullettes Sur Mer this morning! As our amazing holiday comes to an end (tunnel on 1st June) it's like we're being acclimatised for the weather back home.

Near Portscatho in Cornwall, had glorious weather all weekend, sat outside as we speak

Cornwall is gorgeous this weekend, up into the 20's and gonna be good again tomorrow too with the east getting the rain for a change! Noticed an over-nighter in our little car park across the way - was it a funster? Is there anywhere nicer when it's like this?

It's all a bit special when the weather's like it is now, but living here I'd also say that my favourite time is during a winter storm - especially on the rugged north coast - as long as I'm not too close to the edge!
