Today I had put in my diary recharge batteries on the RV.. no not the main one's but all the others we use or do not use that stand for sometime.

Today's list

The Black & Decker drill/screwdriver (small item)

The Hand held part of the CB radio we have to use on parking (we are 45'long with the trailer)

The Garmin hand held satellite that we use on the buggies and as a dash speed large print for when in France

The Camera batteries (picture type camera)

The Snooper S7000 satellite system head.. has to be charged from the mains but will use 12v cab supply on the move.

My spare mobile phone,

My laptop (Dell notepad I use the vodaphone dongle on)

..I often wonder how and why so many things have to be recharged.

So what do you have to recharge?

That reminds me, I really must get round to sorting out all the different cables and different end tips for the various devices. I'm sure we carry far too many duplicates

Am I dreaming it or was there some sort of mains-powered pad invented that you could put mobile phones etc on to charge them instead of plugging them in seperately?

Oh yes there is

Yes it is like an induction plate.. it charges items without being plugged in.

Has anyone told you that you do not recharge a pacemaker????

in fact you need to be very careful of induction plates and anything that can upset the workings like large magnets.. But if you want to charge one..boy you have a serious problem.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: you must be dead:Doh:

Try to get as many as possible on Solar power charges, that way it don't matter if you forget one. As long as the sun shines. ::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

Leave most of my kit in the MH then all get the solar hit. In the long hot summer days in Scotland it is very rare the sun doesn't come out at some point.

Do I take it Buttons you do not take anything with you so you can get a few extra yards to add to your MPG:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::RollEyes::ROFLMAO:

It is amazing just how many rechargeable batteries or non rechargeable batteries we have on our RV.... I think Buttons has elastic bands:Blush::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

The good news is that my three phones. two cameras and my sat nav can all be charged via USB so I have a couple wall chargers and car chargers for USB devices, several cables and several adapter to fit different types of USB ports.

This way I always have a charger handy either at home or in the van.
