Will be interested on feedback too Eddie as too-ing and fro-ing between Integrated and Semi Integrated Hymer/Carthago models as you know...

Semi integrated never under consideration to be honest as they are heavier and have to be longer to work IMO.plus I dont want a long van...

New lightweight A class vans have half a chance of working @ 3500
Only thing that was stopping me was the ledge amd my health..so will just have
to wait and see:)

In our sharing relationship - we "both contribute" so have to share in the decision making process - i.e. they have to be her ideas......... Being a Scot the winterised element will be a benefit!

Oh dear...need to come and live in London for a while and we will get the relationship straightened right out! Has wifey not heard of boys toys......some things sacrosanct:(

Tail wagging the dog? :)

Fully winterised and more spacious as well

The front seats are ofset. Giving a bigger gap between. This makes a huge difference when lounging and accessing cab seats

Arrived in Italy this morning. On the Aire at Olginate near Lecco, it's one of the legs on lake Como..only ones here! And its a cracker right on lake edge with all facilities. You pay for day only 8 e

Cycle track round the edge:)

Ice cold water from machine. Gas or non gas

Very nice Eddie!

We were thinking about following in your footsteps in early October, do you think the weather would be good enough then, or would you suggest waiting until Spring 2016

We'd half decided to go to Dordogne instead as the weather is still good in October, but seeing the pics has made me think again

Regards
Robert

Haven't done Lake Como yet and as we're thinking of doing Italy next year this might be a good place to spend a day or two.

So hot though! Waiting till it cools down to go for bike ride. Nice pizza lunch and a few ice cold Beck's helped! Still only ones on Aire. After a walk round this is off the tourist trail really and no way as commercial as other leg of Como. A few bars and restaurants locally so will do for a night....

We did 3 lakes on our honeymoon 25 years ago this month:) ( moi such a romantic!)

Moving on..

In morning to lake Iseo. Have booked 3 nights at camping Iseo (42 e per night) just now, then we move up the road to Covello for 3 nights. Before reaching our destination next Wednesday, camping Fornella.

Spent less time in Germany then planned so ahead of schedule. Alas the search for the ultimate Strudel will have to wait I fear:(

Aires fine when travelling but with temps in the high 20's and rising! staying in a car park with no shade not so attractive!:)

all sites from now on right on the lakes Need a washing machine as well as washing piling up

shower and a bike ride now!:)

Shouldn't that be the other way round? ::bigsmile:

Noooooo we are both wilting from the heat!

Not having comms in germany has thrown report out of sync, wifi thin on the ground as well. Mrs M had a bad bike fall in Bad Walansee, we were returning to the excellent aire from ride and she came of as entering...a bunch of lovely Dutch people made a real fuss of her...

Bruised and cut lip...would have been much worse if not wearing a lid! As she landed on her head:(

Ears still hurting and only eating soft food and soup. Any excuse for Italian ice cream:)
