    Have eaten these for ages on low GI diet. And knew they had health benefits but have a look at this. :)

    The white flesh variety's make great oven chips (naughty but nice treat:D) if you can find them..I got some by accident in Spain, but major supermarkets supposed to stock. (great roast potatoes apparently but have never tried) Thing is they don't go real soft, so far more chip like then normal sweet potato...

    A little olive oil, cumin and chilli powder, mix put on tray in oven..a yummy treat...

    We love them, except we use either lard or coconut oil.

    You can buy frozen sweet potato fries in Aldi. Very nice too, for a change to chips.
