It gets on my tits at times.

I just typed JAWS 4 HONDA in upper case and it reformatted it in lower case.

How do I tell it I know what I want to type and stop reformatting my carefully crafted text ?

    JAWS 4 HONDA UPPER CASE

    jaws 4 honda lower case

It does the same with text formatting using spaces and returns.

and another thing, why cant the text be made bigger without having to alter font size? Like when I am typing this message can it not be set to say 5 to start with?
I mean most on here are over 55, (not me of course) so it will save me needing glasses when I get older.:thumb:

    Sorted

Sorted, But it may affect those with lower resolution screens, (the vast majority) so i might have to revert it.

    Have you ?

    Thank God no.

It's only the flamboyant haggers that wants it. With respect what is needed is a users set of adjustable defaults. Just like avatar etc.

This must be browser-specific - I'm on a Mac and I never see any auto-formatting in the editor.

I turned off java script and that altered screen formatting. Maybe the way MAC runs java ? Is there an embedded java editor in there ?

Well, it might have given you a thrill, but when I compiled and ran Bryan's code on my XP box, Clippy appeared and told me to :censored:2 myself.

Two hours later my bank account was empty - all money transferred to some off-shore account called MHFUNJIMSUBTOPUP.
