Hi
Has anyone on here used this device , Is it a worthwhile bit of kit, easy to use etc, or waste of money. Just wondering whether to purchase one seeing the winter is arriving, they are on Ebay around £49.00
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve, fitted one a year ago. It always gets a litre out more than you think. I would say worth it for piece of mind but you could do the same by disconnecting a few pipes.
cheers

Worth it....no.

Nowt more than a simple tap connector with a tyre valve fitted.

An airline over an open tap will do the same thing for nothing.
If you dont have an airline a spare wheel will do if deflated to 15psi.

I drained my system today and it was really easy. I don't know why you would need the kit but I am a bit of a beginner so maybe someone else can answer better than me.

I have never bothered. I just open drain valve and taps and never had a problem even during prolonged -C temps.

Fulltiming now so I keep the van warm during the winter (y)

Used it for 4 years now and gets out between 1 and 2 litres which would otherwise stagnate over the winter months. Easy to fit, easy to use but not cheap and I know there's nothing to freeze.

As I hve said on here before
I use a balloon blow them up place it over the tap/Shower pipe and the air forces the water out.
Cost €0 as the oe shops over here give them away.
