Barbara and I have taken early retirement, getting off the treadmill and spent the kids inheritance on our first Motorhome, Autotrail Apache 700. Our first jaunt seen us off to France for 4 weeks. We stayed in a mix of Aires and sites. Had a terrific time in Isle De Re and travelling along the Loire Valley. Only pranged the van once and got one motoring ticket. We are looking to be part of the Motorhome community, seeking help and advice on all that newby's need, where to stay, what to buy what not to buy and hopefully meeting people on the road and at rallies.

glad you enjoyed your stay in France, Isle De Re is lovely. We bought bikes after going there as it was great for biking. Now one of our regular weekend jaunts.

i would say the first thing to buy would be the £10 subscription to Motorhome Fun as it can save you thousands of pounds in the long run.
