Well already feels strange and it's only been away a couple of hours.

We have sold our Adria Matrix 680sp as we are downsizing, really loved the van and no issues with it all the time we owned it so bit sad to see it go.

We made the decision a good few months back that we would downsize to a PVC for a few reasons, main one being our daughter has just turned and will hopefully be heading away to uni so won't be coming with us. Another one being we tend to do a lot of one nights and wildcamping which we will be able to do a lot easier in a PVC, we also find when we go away in the MH we tend to pull up turn both captains seats round and sit there so no need for all those extra seats and the final one is to make Lorraine more comfortable driving it which in turn will make me more comfortable.
We will hopefully have the new one ordered this week with a delivery date of December, we are buying new from Germany and have decided to go for RHD again for Lorraine although we will take LHD if RHD isn't available.
We have picked all the extras and bits and bobs we want them to fit so now just waiting on a reply about upgrading the interior, we have also gone for the extra bed so Sophie can still come with us when she wants and while abroad she tends to sleep I a pop up tent anyway.

So now we have to sit and home and twiddle or thumbs for s few months.

Snap Gerry, we have gone down a very similar route for many of the same reasons We swapped our Rapido 791ff for the Rapido V66 pictured below, yes I have bumped my head a few times but we are sure we did the right thing and also find it superbly comfortable

Hi Alan your van looks nice, we will hopefully follow in your footsteps in a few years as our plans are to have a base in France and tour from there in our Van

No excuses now - come December you should have the best decorated house in Dumfries with an immaculate garden, polished windows, painted doorstep, and a gleaming TV aerial - oh, and both shed and loft devoid of unused rubbish.

Well done Gerry, we went down to a panel van just over 2 years ago, we nearly had a globcar, but decided on a Rapido v53 and no regrets.
Live in it half the time, just had a month in Ireland wildcamping, and we found it perfect, Janie drives it most of the time, and stopped at a dealers last week cambered in and out of a classes nothing has changed still prefer the panel van and convenience. (y) Bob.
