    just like to say thanks to the one that started a thread about topping up batteries, decided to have a look at mine at the weekend.............phew thank goodness I did, the acid was down, showing the plates topped up with distilled water on both took about 3 litres altogether, when it comes round to renewal think I go for the the sealed ones.:thumb:

    Then you never know if there is a problem, at least with good old open ones you can monitor the battery and the charging ( if boils dry it's worth metering to see if the charger is over charging ).
