We just got back from a break on the canals with friends ,and we just want to say a huge thank you to Paul and Nikki ( Haganap) and all the folks who gave us good advice about the purchase of the new Motorhome.
Paul and Nikki let us stay with them and helped us clean the new girl, as she has gone straight into storage ( thank goodness our days of terror driving down our mountain precipices are over!). Paul came with us and helped us carry the cash (Gulp!) along a Midlands high street.
Also thanks to everyone on the site who gave us good advice.
She needs sorting out as there is a distinct lack of hooks for towels, oven cloths tea towels, and lots of open shelving needing storage boxes.
I've posted some pictures in an album, but don't know how to link to these.
We are both excited like big kids, can't wait to take the new girl for an outing. It's our wedding anniversary present to ourselves. Maybe a bit reckless at our age but hey- Patrick Swayze was younger than me and Keith Floyd a bit older! Carpe Diem I say.
