Some toe rag lifted my phone from my jacket pocket this morning whist I had an armful of dry cleaning and was distracted...
As I run a business the smartphone is critical to me (calls, e-mails, contacts, diary etc.. ) and whilst it is all backed up and I will be able to get all the info on a replacement phone, there were on or two Apps on it that caused me a worry.
We have a Vanbitz Growler fitted to the van along with the Metatrak engine mobiliser. Problem was without my phone I was unable to unblock the engine. Given we are planning to go away tonight I was in a bit of a pickle...
However, rang Ashley at Vanbitz and he sorted it all out for me. Unblocked the engine for me and gave me the relevant ID and Passcode details so I can download the app to the wife's phone and be operational. Of course I should of already set up the wife's phone as a secondary back up when we got the system installled, but it was on my to do list....
