Living the dream.
When your parked up for a couple of days on a site and you need to leave for whatever reason do you mark your pitch? In a former life as a camper owner a mate of mine had four pegs and some rope with a number plate. He pegged out the shape and roped it off with the number plate attached to the rope.

Any other ideas?

Yes, yes, yes, I know. Don't leave

We have a bright red fire bucket with the reg number painted on it. Filled with water the old wind must have blown it away trick doesn't work.

Seen a few upset campers on CC sites when unattended pitches taken over.

Since 2005 this time
When we first started we had one of those small, shape of a M/H signs to reserve our pitch.

"'scuse me mate, can I have my sign back?"
"What bloody sign?"
"The one under your bloody caravan that reserved this pitch for us when we went out!"

Since that encounter we've made a bigger one, Our rego# and the little sign, all on a 6oomm stack.
It's big! Anyone that misses that will need their eyes tested!
