Off this Saturday 2 July, Poole - Cherbourg to watch the Tour de France. First stop Mont Saint Michel to see the start. Then heading South to Pau to watch another four stages in the area. Two places we plan to be is on the Col d'Aspin and the next day Col du Tourmalet That's if there is room on those mountains!. Look out for the Devon flag (photo attached). Then on to a very nice "aire" at Port- la - Nouvelle and then drive on to that very large beach and get some sunbathing in.

Look out for the Dorset Flag (me) Kent Flag (Dennis and Lawrence) plus Normandy Brittany Gers on 10 July Andorra stage.

Have bought two five meter fishing poles to attach to Helen's bike rack to run the flags up.

Looking forward to a great time again

Argh! Stop it you guys are driving me insane with jealousy!!
We were all booked last year to spend 5 nights on top of Glandon and then my poor old mum took ill and we rightfully cancelled. I'd rather have had the holiday and Mum but lost both:sick:

    Still maybe next year!

    Enjoy yourselves

    BMStewart2004.

This may make you even more jealous!!

We have been invited by Sir David Braisford to be guests of the Sky team. We will be meeting all the team in their team bus and seeing them off to the start, on Stage 11 Carcassone.
