Has anyone used a tarpaulin to cover the roof and upper sides of the MH instead of a full cover which I have heard can cause mould.

quick way to damage a motorhome and more likely to cause mould and damp as it reduces airflow through roof vents

Just give the roof a good clean and polish every few months and it will be fine, absolutely no need to cover it with a tarpaulin or anything else.

Cover it with a shed, ask a few farmers if they can't help they will know someone who can ! specially if you are offering folding !

you can put foam on the roof to keep the cover off the van. don't have one ourselves, tarp that is, but pass one on the way to storage, it lives under a tree so think sap might do more damage than the cover. looks like a 'proper' cover rather than a tarpaulin though.
