Hi again all,

Has anyone considered/done a pod chop on the front seats on Talbot Express Drifter, ie. cut, remove required amount & re-weld the steel pods....If so how was the result?

I ask because I find that the driving position is too high for me & I end up with backache after a long journey where I tend to keep leaning forward over the steering wheel.

If the mod was done, I am a little worried that the pedals may end up too high in relation to the new seating position!

Cheers Steve

You can buy lower seat bases from a number of places. They are used to lower the seat to accommodate a swivel for the seat.

If you look at Marcle Leisure you will see an example.
