Hi, all I noticed that the water temp go's up in to the red then after 2-3 seconds drops to normal position.I think the Thermostat must stick befor it opens, so I went for a replacement and have been given the wrong one( size to small).Can any one tell me which one or the type(make Number)or would It be better to give engine No,.

hi Rod,

best and easiest is to take the old one as a pattern and it will have the opening degrees stamped on it.:thumb:
