Hi Planning trip to Spain and taking my Honda Scooter with us on a trailer. I seem to recall that there is a requirement to have a Board on the rear of the trailer, sorry for the life of me can't think what its called and where I can obtain one, any suggestions?

Thanks

I think it's called a chevron or marker board. We got ours from a caravan accessory shop although you can buy them much cheaper online.

I stand to be corrected but I think the marker board is for overhangs such as bike racks,if your trailer has the correct light board and number plate I do not think a chevron board is necessary.

There is another requirement for LGV type marker boards if the total length exceeds ( I think) 11 metres but it could possibly be 12.

You are quite right sir,I believe they are so picky the marker board even needs the stripes go down to the left corner!!
