Hi paul Been to (Southern Ireland )Fisguard to Rosslair ,taken both my labs no problems, usefull to have latest booster jabs paper work, also have dogs chipped if not been done. Ferry crossing 3.1/2hrs if you check with purser when you board ship, let them know you have dogs in vehicle, they will escort you to your vehicle around half journey so the dogs can do their doggy doos. Reguards Bruce.
We took our cat across from Pembroke Dock to Rosslare some time ago (No papaerwork req.)
Be prepared for some very poor road surfaces, excluding very major roads they don't seem to have a lot of spare cash to spend on tarmac.
Only did south of Dublin and round the "sunny" s/e corner but it is a lovely country.(Especially if you like bungalows)
No problem. We spent three weeks in May. Headed north from Rosslaire, did a bit of N Ireland and then headed over to Co. Mayo, Co. Donegal and Co. Clare. Had to head home then, saving south west and south for another time.
