Taking a holiday (1 Viewer)

Where do other full times take a holiday from living in their motorhome.

Joan and myself are having a two weeks holiday in a house in Darlington.

Then we will be going to Doncaster for a further three weeks in a house.
Actually we are house sitting for family members while they take an RV holiday in the states.

I am only 4 days into this and I am looking forward to getting back on the road again.

Since having a mh, we havent had a holiday that hasnt been in the mh and this suits us.

There are occasions when we think about a holiday in a location where we cant take the mh, the caribean for example is a place that I love and would really like to go back to but we cant take the mh with us.

I have been living in self built vans for decades and a couple of years ago I decided to get a holiday home...

... so I bought a classic Hymer 660S which is now kept with a friend in Portugal.

When I need a "holiday" (like now) I pop over and have a potter about.
