Seen on the news this morning...

Scotland can expect some horrendous winds tonight and tommorow,,,, 70 - 80 miles an hour winds... and seeing as the tree`s etc are full of foilage expect some damage.. :whatthe:

Take it easy you high vehicle drivers and dont park/camp under tree`s..

And put your awnings/canopy`s away for a day or two.. :thumb:

A new holiday sport - severe weather chasing in north west Scotland sounds like a real adventure. Another plus for holidaying in the wilds of Scotland.

We have come home a day early from our trip to Ediburgh as decided that as the windbreaks etc were still dry why not take them down and get home while the going was good. Also we did not fancy taking flight with the windbreaks when we were taking them down. As it was we had to hold on to them as the wind was getting up and the flat panels were in danger of taking flight when the stays were removed.

It was very breezy on the A68 and had to keep to 50 as the MH despite airsuspension was been battered from the side. Thankfully we missed the rain and got home in the dry.
