To make it more retro they have fitted false rear shock's to hang the exhaust on like it or not its quite clever

They are not even connected to the swing arm, just to carry the exhaust for a more retro look.

Yes not my cup of tea. Must admit I really like bikes that look like triumph tiger 21 or Ariel square 4 etc not into these Japanese looking things at all. But each to their own.

You mean the unreliable short-lived leaky ones that fit no human body without extensive modification? :)

I really don't like that idea. They've built a beautiful machine where form follows function - then they do that? Otherwise I really like the look.
