T4 Camper boot? (1 Viewer)

Hi All

I am now the proud owner of a T4 Hitop Komet. She has a bike rack on the boot and I'm thinking this is maybe why the boot won't stay up when open because of the weight.

Does anybody know if my theory is correct or am I missing/not seeing a pole of some kind that would hold it up ?

Yes, your theory is correct. You might (?) be able to get the struts re-gassed, but don't hold your breath. Broom handles cut to the correct length will do the job.

The gas struts are made just to support the door, not any add ons!
