I do not know if this has been posted before

I have read that Swift are checking window seals when they check these bolts as it seems lots have failed and vans are damp with leaking windows they have not issued a recall but just told dealers to check for leaking windows.

This sort of thing is just not acceptable

how many years are they going to keep doing this sort of thing

4 yrs in total but not consecutively. Just bought the 3rd.
I didn't know there was such a thing as a 'recall' site - have had a look through it - food etc. Will save it for future reference - interesting to say the least!

Thanks!

From that site

In 2010 there were 2m new cars sold in the UK.
In the same year there were 900,000 cars recalled for safety reasons (many of them sold prior to 2010). If 2010 is a typical year then you can expect that 45% of all cars sold will be recalled for safety reasons at some time during their life.
