    Hope someone can help.

Rear lights drivers side do not work.

Brake light works, indicators work, reversing lights work, hazard lights work but the 2 smaller bulbs which operate just the lights do not work.

    Is it a fuse? Help

Changed bulbs, problem not with bulbs.

    hi Lesley,

the fuse box is in the glovebox......a flap on the box floor.
not sure if the rear lights are fused left and right but worth checking. is it just the rear ?. i would think the front and rear are on the same fuse.
it could be the bulb holder has a bit of corrosion on the contacts. CAREFULLY scrape it off with a small screwdriver and a spray with WD40. make sure the lights are turned off or you will blow the fuse.

Hi Lesley,if you have put a new bulb in and still not lit then it will be either fuse, bad earth, or bad connection somewhere

Should have saved your money and licked your finger and stuck it in the bulb holder:Rofl1::Rofl1:

Seriously, easy way is to just run a live feed from the live lot to the dead lot behind the rear skirt or find the break if you can.

    Is this Ducato based ?

We have fuses all over the place - under screwed panels on LHS and RHS. Everything seems to have at least one fuse.

    Yes....
    From the Fiat 2000JTD manual:

The side light circuit is protected by special fuses located in the engine bay junction unit and in the under-facia junction unit.

Short-circuit junction D097A distributes power to front lights F010 and F011 and tail-lights F030 and F031 and number plate lights F050 and F051, via pins 2, 3, 5, and 6. This line is protected by fuses F12 and F13, located in under-facia control unit B002.

Cherchez F12 F13. B2002 is show as having 4 fuses in it.

    Hi

Sound's like it could be a broken live feed wire, or a corroded feed terminal on the back light assembly, have not long bought a kon-tiki 640 myself, so still a newbie, also a new member,
but working in the motor industry for 34 years, and still learning!

its time to start crawling lesley :Rofl1:

underneath the rear body, fixed to both left and right of the main chassis, you will find......joint box's :thumb:

i found these after cutting the wiring loom to fit my t/bar electrics:Blush::Doh:

these have waterproof covers but might have been disturbed in the past and not refitted correctly.
prise the cover off with a screwdriver and check for power in the box.

for reasons only known to swift there are a further two near the front, near to the cab/alko chassis joint....worth checking these two also.

I would like to thank eveyone for your fast responses.

I have just noticed that it is not only the drivers side rear light, but also drivers side rear top light and also drivers side of the rear number plate light, also the drivers side front top light.

Can any of this be caused by damage repair to the front passenger side lights and bumper and panel above the bumper. As I only noticed the light not working when it came out of the body shop that repaired the front damage. I had to take it back to body shop because the front side light was not working.

    Is there any connection.

I will have to start crawling then John.

John do you think the repair to the front has anything at all to do with it.

Cause I can take it back to the body shop and ask them to fix it.

I did get under the vehicle today, but too cold to stay and look properly.

    It is driving me mad.

I am usually pretty good at most things but not electrics.

    it possible but doubtful.

the front will be on the same fuse but probably not the same wire.

too dark to see now but it may be the wiring goes to the front first then to the rear but its very unlikely.....if it does then there will be two wires, one in and one out, at the front sidelight bulb holder center.
