Just bought 2009 model and wondering how efficient the heating is or do I need a heater on board also as I do feel the cold. Also how do you secure your dog when travelling? My first motorhome (ex caravanner)

The heating is excellent mate you won't need an extra heater , we take our dog with us we put his basket in between the seats on the floor and hook the handle :thumb:his lead over the arm rest and leave the arm rest up so that the lead is tight

I have an Ace Adventurer 635EK, (same as a Swift Voyager 635EK), and I reckon we have the same heating system as you. I think you will find it really is pretty darn good and you won't be disappointed with it at all.

Enjoy your van :thumb:

Hi I have the Bessacarr E560, also the same heating system I think.
If anything it will cost you more when you get home, as it is that good that when you get home you keep tweaking the home thermostat. Or at least SWMBO does :imoutahere:

Enjoy

Heating should be no problem, but if it's really cold and you are on hookup you may need to augment it with gas as the electric heating is much less powerful. Alternatively you can supplement it with a fan heater if the ehu will stand it.

Our dog is secured with a harness that plugs into a rear seat belt. (there are only two of us so two spares) It gives her limited movement but would hold her in the event of an accident or sudden braking.
