swift Bolero 680 fb

    we have had our swift for 2 years but have never had the gas blow air heating on, as always gone hookup sites. This Thursday we are going to a site without have tried the gas heating but only get cold air blowing through (gas working on cooker):cry: can anybody help or have we got to be cold all weekend

    1st check the gas lever is on for the blown air.This should be on a manifold with three levers,cooker,fridge and heating.
    Secondly turn off and on again,it could take a couple of attempts if not used for a while.

    have tried switching on off a few times still nothing water still cold but find fridge working ok

    Check under cooker or side of and check the gas manifold

    Thanks have tried all levers and are all on fridge working well, still no hot water or heating, being a female. I am not sure of the tec names.

    On your water boiler is there a red flap?if so lift this up and there is a red reset button,press this then try again.

    Just a thought, have you removed the outside vent cover.

    Dianne,sorry to hear of your problem .We have Bessacar E560 which is more or less the same van.


    Are you sure you have selected the correct setting on the circular dial .

    Have you got split frdge and freezer or both behind one door?
    I've been given an upgrade cos it wasnt efficient enough

    Our van will blow cold air for the first few mins on Gas untill the boiler warms up then it is hot alrite.

    Are you wating for a few mins?

    Left for about 20min and at long last we have hot air

    Thank you everybody who have sent helpful suggestions I now know why I joined motorhome fun.

    Hi Barry, We have split door fridge/freezer .Had van for over a year lots of use and no problems so far

    Hi just to let you know when away at weekend and found gas would not work again, so we will have to go back to Brownhills
