Zaskar, I don't think it is too light for your rig unless of course you are carrying way too much weight

It will cope with up to 12,000lbs.

But at the moment, I'm running a Reese 1500 Pro ?

Me too, I am running a Reese 15,000 Pro.......this has a design maximum of 15,000 Lbs or 6818 Kgs.

My Rockwood has a GVWR of 8287 Lbs or 3750 Kgs so I would be comfortably in on the weight maximum.

I kind of guess you would be too.
