This has all the hallmarks of a scam - location UK - fill in email details - contact details just a first name - no feedback. But look at the price!!!! - not the usual too-cheap-to-be-true.

I have just been talking to EBay.

I can confirm that any classified ad is nt covered by EBay protection at all.

He said that a classified ad is just like an add in the paper with no protection whatsoever.

I messages her back and told her that I would not be completing this purchase. I also told her that I thought she was a scammer

That goes a long way to explain why they always used Classified adds and never with offers or buy it now
Be interesting to find out if they pay for the adds or scam them as well? Fancy phoneing them Lesley

This message did nt come from EBay.

It came from the seller. At least it was her Name on the message

I don't know how they do it, but the sender was definitely her and not Ebay
