just back from praa sands cornwall last night and guess who caught the end of the storm that hit the south coast saturday night, decided at 4am it was getting far to rough right on the front of the sea and had to move the van to a sheltered position , it was like being in a bad ferry crossing even with jacks down.
breakfast on the beach sunday morning oh what bliss
it all adds to the fun
honda eu20 preformed great and well pleased with how quiet it was even under load, batteries now ok after changing them, really not enough sunlight for full solar charging but survived ok ( charging between 0.5a-4.8a per hour compared to over 14a/h in summer )
weather not brill for the 10 days but still fantastic location:thumb: maybe should look at a meet here next year , either feb , may or october

Feb sounds good, got the Italian Job in May and oct seems an awful long way away.....

anyone up for for febuary let us know so we can sort with owner of car park, pub , chip shop post office and toilet block will all be open in feb, penzance and st ives only a short drive away , paradise park superb and good value for children by hayle, meadery at newlyn excellent for one evening
no electric hook up but can get water , £8 per 24 hours to park right on front of sand dune on car park ( motorhome friendly ) about 20 steps onto 1 mile of golden beach ( bbq ???? ) , if anyone interested lets me know i can put a list together and sort directions for anyone not sure
