Have posted this on continental as well but has anyone used the routiers ie French truck stops I use to use them all the time many years ago clean friendly and excellent value any views from you more experienced in recent years I'm going back thirty years of truck driving across Europe

I used to use them before the motorways were built. Most Routiers are on National roads, so if you only take motorways that's it!
That said , there are so many trucks on the national roads especially on week ends as they are not allowed on motorways , I doubt Routiers restaurants would have given up the job! May be on internet?
Enter in google search: Meilleurs restos routiers en France.... you should have some results.
If stuck with French comments , give me a shout!
