You can stop on the port as long as you are not too early. We stayed there a couple of years ago, right against the fence on the left, which was OK'd by the office there.

ditto above , i always stay on the port. once the evening ferry has left its reasonably quiet. cctv all over the place too so no security issues.

Hi. Wild camping is parking anywhere that you don't have to pay for overnight stop. But normally no services ie roadside laybye piece of land that had access car parks etc etc p
