We plan to arrive at folkestone late evening with small kids on board. Is there anywhere safe and handy to park as we intend getting the early morning eurotunnel next morning.

There is a Motorway service area on the M20 just before the tunnel entrance with overnight parking, it is usually full of lorries but I can't vouch for how safe it is or isn't.

It's certainly handy though

There is a Tesco Extra: Link Removed Take the slip road off junction 10 of the M20 Dover bound. Second turning off the roundabout and Tesco is on your right. After buying some supplies, ask for the duty manager and hopefully he will let you park overnight. If you get there during the day, maybe the females in your party would like to visit the retail outlet park ( Mc Aurther Glen ) Some good name brands at knock down prices. Link Removed
