Is that yet another Ford?
Surely some thing needs to be done about their security......................or lack of. (n)

Richard.

Now we are getting out of the EU, we could spec UK ones without the OBD socket!

No point in having a tracker fitted. Any self respecting thief will find it with one of these-

Look at this on eBay

Thousands of vehicles are recovered every year by tracking companies

A GSM locator, even if a cheap Chinese one worked would have a fraction of a second to even register a signal, let alone "home in" on it

I thought you had double posted so quoted the wrong one :Eeek: sorry

Most Fords are stolen keyless'ly and don't have independent security fitted

If your alarm operates with your central locking on the original ignition key, that is simply turned off as well with the OBDP device

Many dealer fitted alarms simply plug into the OBD Port:doh: just benefits lazy installers sadly
